The situation in Israel troubled my soul night before last, so I was unable to sleep a "wink" at all Friday night. After having supper with the Bride of my youth, and some good fellowship last evening, I did go to bed at 8 PM and slept, Praise the Lord, until 4:00 AM this morning.
These lines are being written to you at 4:41 AM this Sunday morning. And, it is my prayer that each and every one of you receiving this email will have a blessed Sunday in your churches.
Now, for a News Article I just read, sent to me from Travel Agent "par-excellante" Dan Tagger [all you folks making trips to Israel ought use Dan. He is very thorough, and clues you in about each and every thing you need know!]
Saudi Arabia has conducted tests to stand down its air defenses to enable Israeli jets to make a bombing raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities, The Times can reveal.
In the week that the UN Security Council imposed a new round of sanctions on Tehran, defense sources in the Gulf say that Riyadh has agreed to allow Israel to use a narrow corridor of its airspace in the north of the country to shorten the distance for a bombing run on Iran.
To ensure the Israeli bombers pass unmolested, Riyadh has carried out tests to make certain its own jets are not scrambled and missile defense systems not activated. Once the Israelis are through, the kingdom’s air defenses will return to full alert.
"The Saudis have given their permission for the Israelis to pass over and they will look the other way," said a US defense source in the area. "They have already done tests to make sure their own jets aren’t scrambled and no one gets shot down. This has all been done with the agreement of the [US] State Department."
Sources in Saudi Arabia say it is common knowledge within defense circles in the kingdom that an arrangement is in place if Israel decides to launch the raid. Despite the tension between the two governments, they share a mutual loathing of the regime in Tehran and a common fear of Iran’s nuclear ambitions. "We all know this. We will let them [the Israelis] through and see nothing," said one.
The four main targets for any raid on Iran would be the uranium enrichment facilities at Natanz and Qom, the gas storage development at Isfahan and the heavy-water reactor at Arak. Secondary targets include the lightwater reactor at Bushehr, which could produce weapons-grade plutonium when complete.
The targets lie as far as 1,400 miles (2,250km) from Israel; the outer limits of their bombers’ range, even with aerial refueling. An open corridor across northern Saudi Arabia would significantly shorten the distance. An airstrike would involve multiple waves of bombers, possibly crossing Jordan, northern Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Aircraft attacking Bushehr, on the Gulf coast, could swing beneath Kuwait to strike from the southwest.
Passing over Iraq would require at least tacit agreement to the raid from Washington. So far, the Obama Administration has refused to give its approval as it pursues a diplomatic solution to curbing Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Military analysts say Israel has held back only because of this failure to secure consensus from America and Arab states. Military analysts doubt that an airstrike alone would be sufficient to knock out the key nuclear facilities, which are heavily fortified and deep underground or within mountains. However, if the latest sanctions prove ineffective the pressure from the Israelis on Washington to approve military action will intensify.
Iran vowed to continue enriching uranium after the UN Security Council imposed its toughest sanctions yet in an effort to halt the Islamic Republic’s nuclear programme, which Tehran claims is intended for civil energy purposes only. President Ahmadinejad has described the UN resolution as "a used handkerchief, which should be thrown in the dustbin".
Israeli officials refused to comment yesterday on details for a raid on Iran, which the Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, has refused to rule out. Questioned on the option of a Saudi flight path for Israeli bombers, Aharaon Zeevi Farkash, who headed military intelligence until 2006 and has been involved in war games simulating a strike on Iran, said: "I know that Saudi Arabia is even more afraid than Israel of an Iranian nuclear capacity."
In 2007 Israel was reported to have used Turkish air space to attack a suspected nuclear reactor being built by Iran’s main regional ally, Syria. Although Turkey publicly protested against the "violation" of its air space, it is thought to have turned a blind eye in what many saw as a dry run for a strike on Iran’s far more substantial — and better-defended — nuclear sites.
Israeli intelligence experts say that Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan are at least as worried as themselves and the West about an Iranian nuclear arsenal.Israel has sent missile-class warships and at least one submarine capable of launching a nuclear warhead through the Suez Canal for deployment in the Red Sea within the past year, as both a warning to Iran and in anticipation of a possible strike.
Israeli newspapers reported last year that high-ranking officials, including the former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, have met their Saudi Arabian counterparts to discuss the Iranian issue. It was also reported that Meir Dagan, the head of Mossad, met Saudi intelligence officials last year to gain assurances that Riyadh would turn a blind eye to Israeli jets violating Saudi airspace during the bombing run.
Both governments have denied the reports

Yesterday in my Bible reading, I touched on Abraham’s eldest son, born to him when he was 86 years old, 14 years before the birth of the "Son of Promise," Isaac. Ge 21:5 And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.
The Holy Bible speaks of Ishmael in Ge 16:12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.
From the birth of Isaac, Ishmael is not mentioned again until the weaning of Isaac, when Ishmael was probably between 15 and 16 years of age. During the festivities of the occasion, and the Jews do have many more occasions for festivities than you and I imagine, Ishmael, angered by his blighted hopes of getting the "blessings", gave way to some insulting expressions of mockery.
Sarah spied Ishmael’s mockery, and said to Abraham, "Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac." Grieved at the demand of Sarah, Abraham yielded when influenced also by "divine admonition."
Regardless of what I think about today’s Ishmaelite throat-slitters, and anything I have written, or will write regarding them, the picture of Hagar’s departure and journey is recorded on the pages of Holy Writ in Genesis, in a beautiful and touching manner. It shows, once again, the care of God for "those made in HIS image!" And, that, even when they become "Jewish and Christian throat-slitters."
OH HOW we ought sing and Praise the name of our God, JEHOVAH! AND, whether my Hebrew friends agree with me or not, the name of our SAVIOUR, the SON OF GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Abraham rose up early in the morning [don’t be lazy preachers,] and took bread and water, and gave them unto Hagar, putting "it" on her shoulder, and the child Ishmael, and sent her away; and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer-sheba, and the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs, and she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot; for she said, "Let me not see the death of the child."
And she sat over against him, and lifted up her voice and wept, which is all recorded for your edification in Ge 21:6 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.
7 And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.
8 And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.
9 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.
10 Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.
11 And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son.
12 And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.
13 And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.
14 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.
15 And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.

OH MY SOUL, how this hell-deserving sinner, even in spite of all he knows that the Ishmaelites have done over the years, and are still doing, loves the blessed story of this passage of Scripture.
It shows GOD’s care for HIS creatures.
The LORD appeared to HAGAR, opened her eyes, and she saw a "well of water," the first time a well of water is mentioned in Scriptures, and thus she saved the life of the lad. Again the cheering promise is renewed to her of her son, "I will make him a great nation," verse 18.
I reminded the Bride of my Youth yesterday, who sits at home, and has sat at home for the 48 years we’ve been married, eating "lonely meals" by herself, while her hubby is eating and meeting important Israelis in these days, and who will have her birthday this coming Thursday, that, I believe with all my heart, when this life is over, and she and I have crossed the river to rest in the shade on the other side, that she will receive more "crowns" than I, even though it was me that got out and about, and did all these things the DEAR LORD has allowed to happen because of her and my ministery in HIS SERVICE. Dear ladies, listen to me, "Motherhood" will be rewarded in heaven, although children are a grief to the hearts, sometimes, of their dear Mamas.
In that sense, Hagar’s story then is very precious to this ole man this Sunday morning.
Thus miraculously preserved, the lad "grew and dwelt in the wilderness [Paran], and became an archer. I have admonished my Israeli "field grade" officer friends to study the Comanche Indians lifestyle as they have to deal with their Ishmaelite throat slitter friends.
Before the US Army got "single shot" cartridge rifles, the Comanches, on horseback were very accurate with their bows and arrows riding at full speed on the "Spanish-introduced-to-America" horses, and had great advantage over the soldiers.
When the US Army got the .34 caliber Colt Pistol, which would shoot six rounds before re-loading, the Texas Rangers, under Captain Jack Hays, learned how to take on the Comanches effectively.
Something we Baptist Preachers ought do, is study the "torturing techniques" of Comanche women on "captives" they had taken from the Anglo-Americans which settled in my native Texas. 70 years ago, ½ of the life GOD has privileged the Bride of my Youth and I to live, I was born in one of the places the Comanches used to winter. Somehow or other, maybe that accounts for the "warlike-habits" some of you brethren accuse me of having.
The Ishamelite Throat Slitting women of today must have taken lessons from Comanche women. And, we would all do ourselves well, as I told those IDF officers, to read up on the tactics of the best "mounted Cavalrymen" who ever rode horses, the Comanchera of the Plains of America.
Scriptures give us the account of Ishmael’s wife in Ge 21:21 And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt. In Scriptures there are no other accounts of Ishmael taking additional wives, as his "throat-slitting-relatives" do in our day.
Genesis tells us of the birth of his 12 sons in Genesis 25. Ge 25:13 And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
14 And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,
15 Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:
Now, Genesis 28 does tell us of the birth of his daughter. Ge 28:1 And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.
2 Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother's father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban thy mother's brother.
3 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;
4 And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.
5 And Isaac sent away Jacob: and he went to Padanaram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob's and Esau's mother.
6 When Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;
7 And that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Padanaram;
8 And Esau seeing that the daughters of Canaan pleased not Isaac his father; {pleased...: Heb. were evil in the eyes, etc}
9 Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife.
The limitation, however, of the "parentage" of those 12 brothers, and this one sister, Mahalath, sister to Nebajoth, points, I believe, [and remember now, you can’t sell any potatoes on my opinions,] to a different "mother’ for the sister and Ishmael’s other sons.
Ishmael's life, compared to that of Isaac, and Jacob, only receives what I’d call a "brief sketch" in Scripture, and it closes out in Ge 25:17 And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.
18 And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren. [A Rabbi friend of mine tells me that he "fell" here, as the Hebrew histories teach.]
Ishmael appears in all cases to have been a wild and wayward child, and doubtless the perfect freedom of desert life, and intermingling with those who looked upon him as their apparent of their great chief, tended to make him impatient of all "restraints" and "overbearing" in his temper, which traits I see in most of the Ishmaelites I have come to know.
Ishmael’s harsh treatment at the hand of Sarah [you Jews, please, just bear with me, as I am on your side, but am being kind here, which kindness never hurts anyone to show,] his disappointment in not becoming the heir of Abraham, and the necessity of earning a scanty living by his sword and bow, would naturally wound his proud spirit and make him what the angel had predicted, "...A wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him" [Genesis 16:12.]
JAV’s opinions: "He shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren," means that "Ishmael would maintain an independent standing before all the descendants of Abraham," and "The Ishmaelites have continued to this day in free and undiminished possession of all those areas promised to them by the God of Abraham." The JEWS have taken nothing belonging to the Ishmaelites, contrary to the UN, and Hilliary! "Palestine" as it was called then, belongs to the Jews. We sing that song, "Israel belongs to the Jews!"
Now, Brethren, in closing this short [definitions are all relative to the "definer,"] letter, let me say that "all info I gained on this last trip to Israel" shows me that Israel MUST hit Iran’s Nuke Works soon.
And, I believe, in talking to those I know, and in reading what I am privileged to read, that "this 2010 hit" [if you will] is going to occur sometime before August 1st. This article about Saudi Arabia proves that point.
And, as of now, my plans are to be in meetings in Texas, Arkansas, Kentucky, Ohio, W. Virginia, and then Pennsylvania, and from there, on July 12th, Jonathan Magas and I are planning to fly back to Israel to be there for the "kick-off" of hostilities with Iran-Turkey-Syria-Hizballah-Hamas, which I think will then be happening.
Traveling, at any time, is expensive. Traveling to Israel in "war-time," which I’ve done twice, is very, very expensive. I NEED YOUR HELP for this upcoming trip. I NEED YOUR HELP to feed Israeli Soldiers "Hot Meals" which combat prevents. I NEED YOUR HELP in delivering aid to the "poor Israelis" who’ll have to "hunker-down" in bomb shelters in Northern Israel and won’t be able to travel south to areas of more relative safety, although, I don’t think any place is going to be safe in Israel during those coming days.
This ole man has preached since 1967. He has always preached, "If you are going to help people, it will cost you time and money." Helping Jews invokes the "blessing" of Genesis 12;3 in our behalf. WON’T YOU HELP ME HELP THE JEWS! Could you send $100, $200, $300, $500, $750, $1000, or $2000 or $5000 or $10,000?
Please apprise me what you are sending so I will know what I then have to raise. Someone asked yesterday, "Brother Vineyard, what if you, or Jonathan get killed over there?" My reply was, "Everyone has to die sometime and somewhere. I shall do nothing stupid, or at least, its not my intent to do that. But, what better place to die than in Israel?"
